De geoptimaliseerde afstand tussen de garengids en de spoel maakt het mogelijk om gemakkelijk tot 3,5 oz garen op te winden. De lange handgreep maakt het gemakkelijk om te draaien en vermindert vermoeidheid. Admittedly, I'm a big Clover fan so when I happened to come across this yarn winder, I sat on it for a few days because it seemed so expensive but eventually decided to just buy it. And how happy am I! I have a Knit Picks one and also one from Hobby Lobby but they both drive me insane for various reasons. Firstly, with this Clover version, you don't need to screw the holder thing (like you do for Knit Picks) to then screw the clamp thing - all you have to do is screw the clap holder to a table- already a win win! And I managed to create a ball of 3.5 oz / 175 yards no problem. And it the winder seems so smooth! I swear I could wind forever with this. Don't think about it, just do it. It's worth it.

A bit expensive though soooooooo much smoother to wind than the cheaper ones. Good investment if you can afford it.
