I did think about making wee bags with emery powder in. I even bought it from Amazon. I read the instructions and knew it wasn't for me. So that was returned and I bought this little gem instead. No more searching for my needle - if I have to go to the door I just plant my needle on the magnetic side of the macaron. I'm not sure that the needle sharpening element is that brilliant. Funny, that's what I bought this for and I now find that I'm happier with the magnet! Bought three of these - one for me and two as presents.

This is my 2nd magnetic macaroon needle sharpener. I have a mint green one that I love & use often. I saw the pink one on sale for $8 while looking for pinking shears. I have many needles & this is a very handy tool to have. Now, I have 1 for my knitting & another for crochet. I would definitely recommend this product & this seller. I received this very quickly & I would buy from this seller again. Clover products are always so well made, longlasting & durable. Love this macaroon!!
