I broke the cable included in the odyssey g8 by accident and had a hard time choosing a cable as the display has a 175hz refresh at 1440p. This cable does great, no issues when connecting the 4080 to the g8 and it is longer than the original one from the monitor!

Ich habe das Problem einen Monitor und einen TV jeweils mit HDMI 2.0 kompatiblen Anschlüssen mit einer AMD Radeon R9 280 X verbinden zu wollen. Dabei sollen die 4K Auflösungen bei 60Hz natürlich zur Anzeige kommen. Mit dem einen HDMI 1.4 Anschluss an der Grafikkarte natürlich aussichtslos.Die Ausführung ist schlicht, keine Goldkontake oder irgendwas anderes werbewirksames, die Funktion hingegen perfekt. :)Schön, dass die Grafikkarte Mini-Display Ports bis 4K bietet, Monitor und TV aber nicht. Bisherige Versuche mit Adaptern verschiedenster Anbieter verliefen ins Leere. Zwar waren Auflösungen bis 4K machbar. Allerdings grundsätzlich nur bis maximal 30 Hz.Der Club 3D CAC-1170 Adapter hat ALLE Probleme bei mir im Einsatz befindlicher Hardware behoben. Er unterstützt HDMI inkl. Version 2.0 inkl. HDCP 2.2 bei einer lt. Hersteller angegebenen maximalen Auflösung von bis zu 3840 x 2160p @ 60Hz. Bei mir läuft der Adapter sogar stabil mit vollen 4K bei 4096 x 2160p @ 60 Hz :))Update 18.07.2016: Nach Umstieg auf eine NVIDIA GTX 1080 und Anschluss am HDMI 1.4 einer SONY 5.1 (BDV-N590) Anlage zur Tonausgabe wird diese nur noch als Stereo-Ausgabegerät über die NVaudio-Treiber von Nvidia erkannt. Sobald ich einen „alten“ Adapter DP 1.2 auf HDMI 1.4 benutze wird sie als 5.1 Anlage mit allem Drumherum erkannt. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit liegt nahe, dass es am NVidia Audiotreiber liegt, denn mit der vorherigen AMD-Graka und dem Club 3D Adapter hat es mit 5.1 funktioniert.

Je devrais enlever une étoile parce que je me suis fait avoir de 30€ leur prix ayant baissé de 70 à 41€ juste après ma commande.Autrement je désespérais de faire fonctionner ma surface 4 pro en 2160p sur ma TV 65" le cable Thunderbolt de 10mètres ne fonctionnait pas non plus avec un adaptateur mini displayport ..J'ai aussi un notebook MSI GE70-2QE également en 2160P 60hz qui n'a pas de port HDMI 2.0 non plus et ça marche nickel !!Pour l'instant la seule solution que j'ai trouvé pour passer de mini thundebolt à HDMI 2.0 !!

Qualità superiore. Ne ho cambiati altri 2 di cavi DP per nuovo monitor UWQHD 2K 144Hz di buona qualità e questo si è dimostrato l'unico senza alcun difetto e pure con una definizione superiore! Difficile da descrivere la qualità e pulizia dell'immagine molto più omogenea, senza la minima aberrazione cromatica dei caratteri anche più piccoli. Una definizione superiore anche per valutare i bordi e il dithering delle immagini, molto più elevata anche del precedente costoso (e difettoso) cavo 8K sempre certificato VESA.NON ABBIATE DUBBI, costa un po' di più (pagato 23€ invece dei 14-16€ dei "soliti" cavi simili) ma li vale tutti i soldi che chiede credetemi: non ha senso farsi un buon monitor e poi ottenere una definizione non all'altezza per colpa di un cavo. Non pensavo potesse fare la differenza. La definizione è realmente migliore e ben percepibile.Non date retta a tutte le recensioni che lodano quei cavi dozzinali che costano quasi la metà di questo, perché non c'è confronto, ve lo dice uno che li ha testati sul campo!

OK, I've got 3 of these 31" LG 31MU97-B Digital Cinema 4k displays and they have notoriously sensitive inputs. Apparently Display Port 1.2 was pushing the limit trying to drive 4k DCI format (4096x2160p). Every other cable I've tried over the years has been touchy, flakey, what have you. The displays would flicker or supper from a momentary aberrant image, have challenges waking up from sleep and so on. I tried so many different cables all claiming to be effective (price was never a determining factor). And yet none of them ever provided a consistently stable image. At best I would get a great image with an occasional flicker every so often. Still infuriating.... Enter the Club3D CAC-1164.... What can I say? These damn cables are IT. They absolutely resolved all those problems upon first connecting them. I am supremely impressed with the apparent quality and CONSISTENCY of the cables. I would strongly recommend these cables to anyone needing to drive high bandwidth video. The best thing about them is that they are entirely reasonably priced. Very well done indeed Club3D.
