I connected two 5 meter displayport cables of good quality to a 4k 60hz display. No problems for a few months. In fact, it seems to have even fixed a small problem I had when monitor sometimes wouldn't wake up. Of course a better test would be 4k 120hz/144hz.

Had a previously chunky Amazon basics display port cable run to montor in other side of room. When that broke (wassn't particularly robust) I ordered this with an extension or two to make up the difference. This was sadly outright faulty on arrival. I ordered replacement display port cables in case of there was a break elsewhere. Nah, it's this unit. I'm sure other buyers units will work but wanted to leave a review here to help those who think their cables are busted to not assume so.USB power cable worked fine for me and tested voltage appears as nominal as you'd expect but yeah, busted units could be a thing. Returning and looking for alternative.

I used it to extend Pimax 8K X range by 10 meters. It worked fine at 75 Hz, sometimes needed PC reboot to work. Not working at 90Hz.However, it's possible to chain several repeaters to get better connection. But then it's perhaps better to get the Lindy repeater which is more expensive but no chaining is needed.

Leider hatte mein 4K Monitor Bildaussetzer und Artefakte bei Nutzung eines KVM-Switch in Kombination mit einem Mini-PC.Zuerst bin ich von einem iGPU-Defekt ausgegangen, jedoch lag es an dem wohl schwächeren DP-Signal des PCs.Durch den an den Mini-PC angesteckten Adapter wird das Bildsignal verstärkt, und die Bildaussetzer/Artefakte haben aufgehört.
