There are two versions of this sensor. This is the cheaper one. The other one supports Zigbee. My mistake - I needed the other one.I compared this sensor with a calibrated Aranet4 CO2-sensor. This sensor follows the Aranet quite well, but was (in my living room) always 120 ppm too low. This is probably the result of its automated calibration, and my living room doesn't go down to 420 ppm daily or weekly. Then it measures something like 540 as the lowest value and thinks that is fresh air, equals that to 420, and there you go. Too bad they don't let me calibrate manually. The critical values are set to 400, 1000 and 2000. Other devices use 1400 or 1500 as red zone. You can set this manually, which you should do, especially because the given value is lower than the actual ppm.The reflecting screen gives it a flashy appearance, but after a while it's annoying because of reflections. Oh and fingerprints! This sensor has a battery, so it works when without USB-power. But the screen goes off, and you only see the led that signals the state: green (all is good), orange (still OK), red (bad air). You can tap the screen to see the values. The battery won't last long and should have been left out. When you start charging, the battery indicator blinks green-orange-red for many hours, once again stating that the battery is low quality. The screen displays the CO2 value and time, or temperature and humidity. I would like it to display CO2 and temperature, for me the two most imporant values. Better would be to display CO2, temperature ánd humidity all at once and forget about the time. We all have watches or phones. You can set the alarm on or off, but in practise you will set it to off. The sounds is very loud and continues to beep and after five seconds you want to throw the device out of the window. The Aranet gives a simple beep every minute or so when red, not too loud, and that is enough. When you set the alarm off and it reaches a critical value, it beeps three times, which is good enough.I haven't testes the app, haven't connected this device over wifi, as I don't trust these devices on my network. I could put them on a special vlan, but this device doesn't deserve that much effort and I don't want those Chinese apps on my phone. All in all not bad for the price, and usable if you keep the alarm off and don't mind that annoying mirror screen.

On the website of HEIMAN, the product HS3AQ is documented to have Zigbee integration. The delivered product has no such integration. Amazing how a supplier can create such confusion...Walter
