I absolutely love my new ash bucket! I’m not sure why people are struggling with the lid, you just lift the handle, and take the lid off! Nothing hard or confusing in the slightest. It’s perfect for what we need, looks great, and you don’t exactly need a reinforced steel container for a bit of hot ash. With the coal we use, we’ve emptied the grate everyday into the ash bucket, and the whole thing has been emptied once in the 6 days we’ve had it, so it’s more than big enough for a domestic fire/stove.

The bucket is great. The lid doesn’t seem to fit properly and falls off.

Great ash bucket well worth the money. Little wooded knob on lid and little wooden handle make this a old fashioned which I like love the ash writing on its great. Lid fits fine all in great buy.,

My parents needed something lighter than their traditional brass ash and clinker bucket as dealing with the solid fuel boiler is getting harder as they get older.This is great, light enough to not add to the burden, yet strong enough to take hot ash and a tight fitting lid to starve the ash and clinker of oxygen to make sure nothing reignites.Very happy with the price and delivery speed too.

Arrived today, after 1 day delay on delivery which is not an issue, looks decent enough for its use but not lid handle which will be a inconvenience.
