Fantastic paint. Super easy to apply, has very good pigmentation, dries immediately.The color is a brilliant scarlet red, exactly what I wanted.

Members of my household have picked up leather work as a hobby, so when I saw this kit I thought it would be a fun addition to their supplies and another element to experiment with. While I can't attest to the durability - and suspect if you create something you really want to protect you'd invest in an acrylic paint leather finisher to protect your final painting - it's performed well and has the flexibility when dried to maintain the bond to the leather without cracking.The kit comes with everything you need to get started, including 12-75ml tubes of paint, five paint brushes, and a plastic paint palette. The brushes aren't anything special but good to get you started. Likewise, the paint palette is quite thin but works well enough as part of a starter set. Each tube of paint is foil sealed so they should stay fresh until you're ready to use them, and even after opening the caps screw on tightly so should maintain a good seal.The paint has the same consistency of traditional acrylic paint. What we did notice is that it's a bit tackier/stickier and also has a relatively short drying time. This means you need to work at a decent pace when painting, not rushed, but deliberate. The short working time also means it's difficult to blend colours so this is more suitable for flat colour application. You could blend the colour on the palette and then apply, but again you'd need to work at a decent pace and make sure you mix enough to cover whatever area you're painting.Overall, a nice set that's priced fairly when compared to similar products. There's enough variety of colours to get you started, including both primary and secondary colours, and enough of each colour that you can cover a large area. You can get sets that have more colours but less quantity in each colour, so depending on what you want to paint it may be worth looking at some other options. However, at only $3 a tube including tax, this is a nice set that I'd recommend.

These are really good leather paints!! It doesn't take much paint to cover the surface of a shoe, so a little goes a long way! The colors are very vibrant too! The only reason I took a star off is because of the paint brushes. The brushes work fine, but when I went to wash them out (lukewarm water, no harsh soap), the bristles fell out. I'd recommend getting your own brushes, but besides that, everything else is fantastic! Definitely worth the money.

Very useful when you have shoes in untraditional colors and you want to refresh them! The colors can be mixed to obtain different shades and they are very easy to use! Brushes are good quality, but sponges are better when applying to shoes. These are savinga couple of pairs that I wanted to throw out, because the color had faded beyond anything acceptable. I'm thrilled to see such results!Oh, and they can be used for crafts too, like painting on leather patches, leather purses and more. They also work on regular canvas, but why waste specialized paint for that?
