Finally! An outdoorsy short that isn't too short. I've been looking for something just above my knee and have always been disappointed that every technical short is mid thigh. I don't want the convertible zip off pants and was so happy to find these. The India ink color is really pretty and versatile. It falls just above my knee and the waist is great with a slim fit around the leg (I am 5'4, 120 lbs with athletic legs and small waist for reference). I got the size 6, and usually wear a size 4 so these seemed to run a little small. I wore them camping and hiking and to the beach and they were perfect. Really, really happy with these and would highly recommend for an attractive, functional and nice cut short.

My only complaint is that they are not available in black. They wash and pack well. For sizing my hips are 40" and the 12 fits fine. The waist is slightly lower than a normal waist which works for me.

These are great shorts. I am 5'10", 150 lbs. I am wearing a size 10 in these. They are super comfy, flexible, and lightweight, and they never seem to get dirty. The leg openings are more fitted but not tight at all, which I like because they don't look baggy or feel bulky. Wish I could find them in a 7" inseam, but the 10" is fine.
