Columbia Dames Saturday Trail Long Short

I have several other pairs of these shorts and capris that are sizes 6 and 8, but suddenly their sizing has gotten tiny. I now have to order these in a size 10. I'm a size 6 or 8 in other brands, just in case anyone is trying to figure out what size to buy. The style is great and I love the extra pocket on the leg.

Nice shorts but wish there was more stretch in the waist. I have an old pair that said size 12, I may have stretched them as they are about 8 years old, but size 12 seemed too small at first, and after a couple of hours, they were comfortable. Wish there was a little more give in the waist or higher waisted, to avoid muffin top. 5'1", 147 pounds and size 12 was right despite the above.

Il marchio non delude mai. Peccato a volte che per incomprensioni ( la taglia non era spiegata) e ho fatto l'acquisto praticamente alla cieca. il pantalone è bello, leggero e adatto alle escursioni

These are the best shorts I have purchased in a long time. I have several pairs of the Saturday Trail Knee Pants and I expected these shorts would fit just like those and they do. The fit is slim and tapered in the legs...finally a company figured out we don't like flare leg shorts! Thanks to Columbia for getting it right. There are some Columbia shorts I wear a size 6, but all the Saturday Trail products I have (pants, shorts and knee pants) I have found that the size 8 fits best. The fabric moves and stretches just enough to be comfortable all day. The only drawback about that is by the end of the day they can get a bit stretched out. I like that the Saturday Trail products have a snap closure instead of button because buttons always fall off. The waist sits perfect, not too low, just high enough for coverage.
