Fantastic Jacket.After having multiple waterproof jackets over the years and all failing to keep me dry I purchased Columbia. A bit expensive for work but needs must . As a gardener I have to work through the great British weather every day so you can imagine I get soaking wet most of the time . I thought this jacket was a bit expensive as it was very thin and couldn’t believe it was worth spending that kind of money for a work coat . Well how wrong was I.I spent the whole day in the poring rain only to find that my top half was bone dry.Even the zip areas were dry . It’s not very breathable as the zips under the arms are pointless due to if open water comes in eventually . But all zip seams are watertight when shut . It’s a shame Columbia don’t make decent waterproof bottoms . As I would have them too for work as it looked like I’d spent the day mowing a river bed up to my waistSize wise pretty accurate . Although the arms were a little long if I’m being honest . But every thing else was perfect .Anyway top recommendations for this jacket .If you want to spend all day in poring rain in the summer and keep you top half dry . This thin lightweight jacket is for you .5 stars from me.
