Columbia Glennaker Lake 2 Rain Jacket heren Waterdichte regenjas (1-Pack)

I've weathered several minor showers with this and the waterproof coating and seals have worked as advertised. This is not very warm so it is ideal in summer or over a winter coat. The material feels nice and it is easy to pack into a smaller size. I especially like the foldable hood which adds style points when there's no rain. After one season of use the quality has held up. I wish it had a loop on the back so it would be easier to hang from a hook. This is often on sale so keep an eye out as it is good value for money

Nicely-made, generous fit, good quality zipper. Would recommend this model if you can catch it on Amazon for the $37.50 price I paid a few weeks ago (checking the website today, Amazon is charging $49; possibly the price fluctuates with demand/market/tariff situation). Website says this particular jacket (Glennaker Lake II) is returned quite often; thinking folks are wanting a bit heavier rain coat (which Columbia does make for about $30 more), but I actually prefer this lighter weight.....perfect for stuffing into a daypack or behind your car seat. I also ordered (at the same time but from a "competitor", another VERY similar rain jacket on Amazon.....Outdoor Ventures Men's Rain Jacket $36.99), & am going to keep BOTH (nice to have a spare & will store in different locations). Columbia jacket had velcro wrist adjustment flaps (Outdoor Venture just had elastic); Outdoor Venture jacket also has a loop at the collar so you can hang the wet jacket on a wall hook in a restaurant (or your bathroom), but the Columbia jacket does not (surprisingly; as that feature would certainly only have cost them an addition 50 cents to include). Either jacket would be an excellent choice at this price-point).
