I took delivery on October 8th 2024. As of now (December 2024) they are definitely not waterproof. I use them to primarily walk my dog in all weather. It's been weeks of my toes feeling vaguely wet from dew or overnight rain, but with the rainy winter season here, they are definitely not waterproof, because in heavy rain my soles and toes are definitely wet now. it's not coming through the ankle.The one positive thing I can say is they are very well suited for a whole day of walking on vacation, up and down hills on stone the streets of Sicily, and quite capable in the country, walking through farmland.
