my earlier review of the color of the cordovan golden yellow was incorrect. In different lighting it does have a more brown color. The boots fit well and appear to be a decent boot for the price.

Good quality & well-made boot. While they don't appear to be real leather as advertised, they breathe well. Box says "Columbia Omni-shield." Traction is excellent, even on snow/ice, & the sole doesn't seem to hold & track in mud. The toe box isn't real tall, creating some rubbing atop my foot, but I was able to remedy this by substituting a thinner insole. Overall I'm well satisfied.

I really like the look of these. They are true to size (at least for me), and they are really good quality, as expected by a brand like Columbia. I haven't had any issues with these with regards to the waterproofing or any structural/build quality issues.I will say that for me, these particular boots/shoes took quite some time for me to "break in" and even still, they are a bit stiff. I'm giving these 4 out of 5 stars because aren't the most comfortable pair of footwear. While I don't hike extensively, I would highly recommend wearing these A LOT so they can loosen up and break in before taking them out and about for a long trek in the woods.

Beautiful packaging, well designed, cosmetic is a 10, quality throughout, really hit this one, in terms of design...out of the ballpark! Great all around light hiking shoe, (not a traditional hiking boot).One exception, actually two. Runs just a tad too small. Not a whole half size, but half of a half size. Second...the comfort. Not the most comfortable, best in the world hiking shoe, but for $80....this is a good one. Quality is exceptional, but don't expect the same comfort and performance you would find in a $159.00 hiking boot.Again, for everyday dogs walks, day hikes, or just working around your property, this is a very good mid-level hiking shoe. Columbia has done an exceeding superb job with its presentation, the look, and packaging. In summary, you can't go wrong with this price point, and if you're considering this as a gift for someone, it looks way more expensive than $80.
