Went for a walk to a moor on a rainy day and the shoes has kept my feet bone dry. It's light and comfortable to wear. A good buy.

I'm not sure if it's Amazon who sizes these or Columbia, but I have yet to meet a woman who couldn't agree that no matter what a woman wears, every brand fits differently. Apparently we don't have a right to have a size to just find out and stick with across brands. Not that that's news to anyone. It's either pick a brand and stick with it or just constantly have to try on everything. Well, buying on line it not woman friendly (normally, but more on that later). I've had to return 3 pairs of shoes. One that I bought in my "usual" boot "size" going a half size up per instruction from the seller because of the insulator built inside the shoe. That was a different brand. They were massive. The other's were two of these Columbia's, where I went with the website description for sizes and have now returned two. Meanwhile, try finding a practical pair of shoes for a girl that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I'm giving this item four stars. One less only because the description for sizes, which says I'm a 6.5 which I've never been except occasionally (and I mean very occasionally) for an extremely dainty lady shoes. Going with my standard 7 for average every day shoes, to a 7.5. I bought a whole size up from what the website described. The other four stars are a mark for quality, which Columbia aspires to have, price, and as a humongous and much needed thank you for your free returns on many items found under the Prime name. What's a girl to do? I found it annoying, but worthwhile to be able to find shoes that were actually useful for a woman, and not have to worry that I would be stuck a. with shoes that were the wrong size or b. paying shipping 3+ times until I could find the right size. It seems like a waste of recourses, was my only complaint. But a mother who works can really appreciate the help. Thank you Amazon/Columbia!

I just returned from a trip to Iceland and these boots were the best thing I brought with me. Really comfortable and best of all, super waterproof! Boots were true to size- I wear a size 7 and that’s what I bought and the fit was great. I wore thick merino wool socks and the boots were comfortably snug but not tight. Really pleased with this purchase!
