These are the new wave--no more nail holes in the wall. And these are for heavier pictures--much needed around our place. They do not stick as well to flat paint, so we have to use more of them. The cost adds up when you see how many you really need. I would not use these for very heavy mirrors or heavy glass/heavy frame pictures. Overall, a blessing of an invention.
