Love this harness overall!! Super well built, great material. You can tell how strong it is. The chest pad is super padded. The only thing is, if our dog was any bigger it wouldn’t fit! He’s also 72 pounds so slightly over the crash test weight. I wish they made an XL so more dogs could enjoy!! For reference we have a German shepherd / husky mix with a very wide rib cage and thick neck. Thankfully it fits him like a glove with the straps all the way extended. Little snug on his neck because that part doesn’t adjust. Love it!!!

Bought this for Golden retriever as we were worry the straps with clips might not hold him. Very easy to clip our dog in as the handle is large enough to do this, unlike some others we have used and seen. This is well built and a good handle to grab him if required. It does fit well. Suggested improvement would be to make the neck adjustable. Our dogs deep chest makes for a fair to good fit. This is the only issue that doesn’t warrant an excellent rating.

I am very happy with this harness and Im sure you will have read all the great features and they are all true - its very well made, well padded although I wouldn't call this large one lightweight. Love the loop on the top which is convenient to grab when this lads doing something crazy! We have driven all around France with him in it and there hasn't been a problem so I am very pleased. However looking at the feedback something is going wrong with the front Pad digging in the dog's throat which must be upsetting for buyers or the neck being too tight. So let's look at that.My boy is very mixed breed so no help there,he is 30KG so that pushed him into Medium or Large,his chest is 80 cm so that put him in large.His neck though is only 50 cm which is Medium. I purchased Large and so perhaps I had a little more space on the neck - I have measured the inside of the neck of the harness and it is exactly 60 cm on this large harness and it can not be adjusted.One issue I had was where to measure the neck - Don't take the measurement where an ordinary collar fits which I did at first and that was 42cm - small! which is clearly wrong. The neck measurement should be taken further down the neck towards the shoulders and I don't think this is clear enough on the sellers diagram. Also the chest adjustment needs to be tight enough so that the harness doesn't move forwards or even come off. His chest is 80 and the inside measurement of the harness - as it is set to fit him properly is 82 cm he seems comfortable.The maximum extension you get out of the chest adjustment is 84 CM so we only just made it there.It is an excellent harness and good value in my opinion, but that doesn’t help you people if the neck is too tight. So be careful. There really should be neck adjustment so I have given 4 stars. Hope this helps.
