Very nice edition. Just what I wanted all in one book. Lies flat when opened.

Just purchased this as particularly like these works by Satie probably because they sound so haunting with an hint of sadness that gives a glimpse of his world and they can stand up to my playing. I’m about a year in self taught and can play through Gnossiennes no 1 and Gymnopedia no 1 not tried the others yet with a fair bit of Rubato. The sequences repeat and there are a limited number of chords to learn in these two will work up to the others.Book folded fairly flat after flattening by thumb press slide down the centre.Currently working on Gnossiennes no1 which is displayed over 2 pages with no page turn required which is useful although this makes the print a touch tighter but thankfully I can follow it and not get lost (but much tougher to read than the piano adventures method books I am using which are super clear). Looked at the others and similar except no7 which is 3 pages. A fair bit of instruction on Gnossienne no 1 in French which explains the playing.Also working on Gymnopedia no 1 which is over 3 pages giving a more spread out appearance than the Gnossiennes.
