Ik vond het erg fijn spul, maar dat beginnentje krijgen tot de lijmwerk is wel irritant(-1). Al een paar keer gehad dat ik de achterkant er half aftrek. Het werkt echter super als het is gelukt, dus wel blij mee.

Our new extension is great but a natural gap between wood floor and skirting board allows cold air from the buildings natural breathing to the underfloor to get into the living space. Being (just a little bit) OCD about such things I wanted a solution but this wasn't a job for expanding foam or Caulk. I'm sure it's possible but the mess I'd make wasn't appealing.I used a combination of a thicker option for larger gaps of 6-8mm and a thinner option for other areas that were around 3mm.This foam roll was super easy to use and well packaged. Don't roll the whole thing out. As soon as you release it off the roll it begins to expand. It'll take about 20 minutes but if you have a thing gap it'll fill it in a few minutes. Using the tape was super simple, unroll, slide it into the gap, push in with a spatula or similar, then wait for the gap to fill. I didn't unpeel the tape as the friction of the foam once expanded was enough to keep it in place. But really happy with the results. No more drafty toes.I suppose I could've just put some socks on, but where's the fun in that!Top tip I saw on Youtube is to make sure you use the included tape sticky bit to hold the reel together after use. This way it'll stay lovely and compacted and ready to use.
