Bought it for my Macbook 16 M1 (2021).The packaging comes with two halves, 3 (or 4) screws and a screwdriver. You have to install the two pieces and screw them together with 2 screws.First, none of the parts are made of soft materials, and they may scratch the device.Secondly, and most importantly, this device is poorly designed regarding security. If I were designing it, I would make it so that the halves would not disassemble unless the lock is removed. However, you can easily unscrew them.You may say that this thing and the Kensington lock are not made to protect your device from any sophisticated attacker. But, anyone with a 20-pound pocket knife with a Torx screwdriver (some Swiss knives have screwdrivers with interchangeable bits) could steal your laptop in about 6 seconds!!!
