I ordered this as I had to break up a small amount of hardcore and didn't want to have to use my large sledge hammer.The product has a fully rubberized shaft and due to this is very grippy which gives confidence in use (you don't want one of these flying out of your hand!) and even after 2 hours use there was no sign of the rubber grip coming loose. During the 2 hours the head of the hammer took some real abuse and apart from a few small marks (which you'd expect) it's completely in tact with no chunks missing.I'd happily recommend this to anyone who wants to smash up some bricks or take down a small wall etc. Due to it's heavier 1.5kg head weight it's also ideal as a compromise if you don't get on with sledge hammers which can be a little hard on the arms. There's also something very sinister about the red and black colour which I found strangely appealing!
