This is the best slow feeder we have found for our girl. It has slowed down the amount of time it takes her to eat 5 fold. The design is tight enough that her muzzle does not get into the grooves which makes her have to lick out each piece. I am most impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the product. I use it over her bowl in her raised feeder and the grip backing prevents it from sliding off and keeps it well in place as she eats. Being able to wash in the dishwasher is a plus and the food grade safe silicon makes us feel as though she is not ingesting toxins with every meal. It is also freezer safe which makes for fun treats by filling in with whipped cream and freezing for a fun and special treat. Would buy this great value item again for other pets or friends in a heartbeat.

I’ve tried various foods in this, the best by far was pressing chicken pieces into it, it took her ages to get them all.My vet recommended I got one, my dog bolts her food and is a complete glutton, the thought was that if we made it more difficult for her to eat her brain might think she’s full and stop the desire to have snacks.Turns out she is a habitual snacker, but hey, it keeps her occupied.*she is regularly wormed. She’s just plain greedy.
