We were looking for a small enough and soft enough doll that our 5-year old daughter could play with and dress up with on her own, and this Corolle doll was perfect. Bought for Sinterklaas and arrived well on time. She is small enough to be carried around by the little girl, sits up quite well, and stands well propped up. Hair is thick and curly; don't know though how it will hold up once wet, as daughter wants to give her a bath sometime, though we had told her the doll may have to be handled very carefully in the bath to avoid getting her eyes and body too wet. As can be seen in the photos, taken a day after the doll was taken out of the box, her hair became quite dishevelled after only a few hours of playing, though the curls remain. In these photos, doll is shown with sandals and dress, also from the same brand.
