We bought this glass teapot to perform a ballcuzzi. The glass allowed for the show to be completely visible, which was a great bonus. The spout was quite short so there was some interference in the wind intake, but all in all I would recommend this teapot for a ballcuzzi of any type.

Vorweg: Ich habe die Kanne in der 1L-Version gekauft. Sie traf umgehend ein und war wirklich sicher verpackt. Ich nahm den Sieb-Einsatz samt Metallring heraus, spülte sie ab und kochte meinen ersten Blüten-Tee. Da ich diesen Tee lieber dünner und nicht so stark mag, habe ich mich für die Kannengröße entschieden und etwa 800ml Wasser genommen. Der erste Gedanke war: Der Deckel sitzt aber lose... und das war mein eigener Fehler: Der Metallring hält sowohl den Sieb-Einsatz UND den Deckel! Mit Ring sitzt der Deckel fest und klappert nicht und fällt auch beim Einschenken nicht herunter.Der Sieb-Einsatz ist wirklich feinmaschig und wird von mir ebenfalls für konventionelle Zubereitung verwendet.Wichtigster Pluspunkt: Die Kanne tropft nicht beim und nach dem Einschenken! Sie tropft tatsächlich überhaupt nicht und es läuft auch kein Tropfen an der Tülle herunter! Nachdem ich das jetzt zum ersten Mal bei einer Teekanne erlebt habe, frage ich mich, warum andere Hersteller das nicht auch so einwandfrei hinbekommen...Alles in allem: Ich empfehle diese Kanne uneingeschränkt; man muss sich natürlich im Klaren darüber sein, dass sie aus feinem und nicht aus Panzerglas gemacht ist und sie nicht grober mechanischer Belastung aussetzen.
