Cricut Smart Iron on, Zwart - 5.5' x 6ft Bulk (1)

I got this cricut joy smart iron on for my daughter's cricut. She has a cricut joy xtra, so this fits in there without cutting but it is narrower than she has to have for that machine. She likes how long it is because it will last a while. She decided to use the mat with it because her first project was only a small one, and it works with the mat. She found it easy to weed. Unfortunately, she had trouble with ironing it on, and it didn't go on correctly. This is because she was using our home iron and can't exactly control the temperature, so it would be better if cricut HTV products worked under a broader range of temperatures. The black color was dark and evenly colored. It is thicker than a roll of value vinyl that we have.Even despite the hiccups, we found this to be a good quality cricut product and a good value.

There were two out of four boxes I received that was 1/2 inch wider then my machine, which was beyond frustrating, having to cut that much product off.

I've used cricut brand materials with my cricut explore air 2, and they usually work well. This came quickly and undamaged, no complaints so far.

I really like my Cricut plotters. They have survived several moves, are easy to teach new users how to operate plotters, and are fun for both adults and kids. It is very easy to find vinyl to fit the Air machines, and while I often just easily trim bigger tubes to fit the compact Joy, it is exciting to find rolls of HTV that fit in the Joy machine right out of the box. This HTV is a classic black color, which is excellent for many different household applications.Cricut is a very popular vinyl brand for home use. I gave this black Smart Iron-On four stars because it is one of the better Cricut vinyl products I have tried, but as always, it has some durability issues that displease me. Even after just one wash (wait 24 hours after applying Cricut HTV to wash your fabric), I'm noticing some wear on the vinyl already, and I expect some cracking within a few more washes, despite my line drying.Cricut products are usually decent, certainly not the worst, but the long-term durability and the ease of weeding just is not as good as it could be, especially for the premium price charged. There are better quality vinyl options available, which are often cheaper, too; my personal favorites are Stahls, Teckwrap, and Econotransfer. My suggestion is that if you already have Cricut products, use them up, but when you are ready to buy more vinyl, remember that you have other options out there.

This Cricut smart iron on vinyl is a really good quality. I use it on my Cricut explore air 2 using a mat, and it cuts & weeds well. I’ve used it on t-shirts and tote bags using a heat press and it has stayed put nicely, even through multiple washes. I’m happy with it!
