Putting the ship together was definitely a fun and enjoyable experience. It was like a puzzle, trying to fit all the pieces together and make sure everything was in its right place. I have to admit, there were a few moments where I struggled to get certain pieces to line up, but with a little bit of patience and effort, it all worked out in the end.One of the things that really caught my attention about this model was the fact that it glows. I was a bit skeptical about this feature, thinking it might not work as well as advertised. But I was pleasantly surprised when I turned off the lights and saw the ship glowing in the dark. It adds a whole new level of excitement to the model and really makes it stand out.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Although glue not required there were places it was helpful for me to use a craft glue gun with glue sticks. This was to help reinforce interlock able pieces that would come out if not glued. One example was when doing the masts for the sails as well as the braces that run between the mast. The braces were a bit too short by about half CM and had to glue them in to make the pieces tight. I also glued the climbing rails that run along the side of the masts to the frame of the ship as again they would come out. If there was a bit more length on those pieces it wouldn't be an issue. And the cannons I put a bit glue on each tab that connects to the floor cutout as when I was installing the panels with the cannon holes they would come out of place. Glued the tab and inserted to the slot and dried quickly.I also missed one decorative block of cargo that goes behind the pirate when the inside is visible by removing the detachable panel to look inside where the barrels are. Have a few cutouts where it is to go but not very noticable. The lights were another story. They were so much easier to do than the titanic. These lights had 4 seperate harnesses that connect to the battery box independently preventing a mesh of wires from hanging while assembling. Another great feature was they had circle hooks along spots of the hull plate to tuck the wires in, and the bulbs had their own holes inside the cardboard panels to permanently fix the bulb in place. Much more tidier setup. There is just a nest of wires that are lose inside the hull that can see when looking through the stairway hatches from the top but doesn't impact the detail; and a lot of the wires are tucked in where the battery box is at the aft panel below the three lantern lights. The base stand is very sturdy. Each side has double cardboard arms for support and as the ship has a hull line running fore to stern along middle of the ship on its bottom that fits nicely inside the stand for support. I build the stand first to rest the ship on it when I take a break as it rests on its side during construction. Near the end of the puzzle the ship goes on stand to make easier to install the sails and can lift off and move to another location for display if desire.Instructions were not difficult - take time and will do ok.
