I had two separate access points in my house. One was on the top-right of my house, the other on the bottom-left. I setup the same SSID name and password on each, so that my devices could move around the house and connect to either one automatically. However, if you were on your mobile device and the signal handed off to the other access point, there would be a momentary drop. Sometimes that's not a big deal, sometimes it could mean dropping calls. Plus, even with two of them, I didn't have a strong signal in all areas, and had no signal in some spots.I still want to continue using my exiting firewall/router, so I setup these in access point mode, and then positioned one in the top-right of my house, the other on the top-left of my house, and the third one centered on the first floor. The coverage is now strong just about everywhere, and roaming around with your mobile device hands off seamlessly to each tower as the signal strength dictates.A couple things to note: I have Ethernet wires in each one of those positions, so I'm using a wired backhaul. I can't speak to the effectiveness wireless backhaul. The other thing, which I didn't know when I made the purchase, is that there is no "Guest" network when you use it in the access point mode. That's unfortunate, but I worked around it. Considering the very reasonable price, that's not worth deducting a star. Maybe that will change in a future firmware update (hint, hint).

Avevo comprato tempo fa un piccolo router Cudy che si, il wr3000, che si era dimostrato particolarmente valido per una piccola casa, soprattutto in relazione al prezzo. Seriva senza il minimo intoppo una trentina di dispositivi domotici oltre a TV, cellulari e PC. Dovendo coprire una casa di 150mq su due piani ho deciso di dare fiducia a questo kit da 3 satelliti. Ero scettico, non essendo nepoure tri-band. Che dire, strepitosi. Ho un segnale perfetto su entrambi i piani, inclusi giardino e pertinenze. Oltretutto posso usare il mio vecchio router come ulteriore elemento della rete mesh, essendo compatibili, ma a dire il vero non ne ho neppure avuto bisogno. Oltretutto con una porta wan da 2.5Gbps. Consiglio di non metterli alle estremità di casa, piuttosto di fare una buona triangolazione nella parte centrale per sfruttare la sinergia della rete mesh.

Tinha um outro equipamento de uma marca conhecida e este funciona muito melhor do que o anterior, foi mais fácil de configurar e, apesar de ter as mesmas características do anterior, na prática é mais potente.
