BEST GUITAR STRINGS , NO STRING NOISE , GREAT SOUND . I BOUGHT IT FOR MY SON's music competition . Had some initial problems in delivering the item , due to prompt sms to me i could speak to the courier person and get the misplaced item . STRING WAS MANUFACTURED IN 2011

After years of using D'Addario 10 ga. Chromes ─ because I hate the string noise of round-wound strings ─ my arthritic hands were begging for relief. For years I believed that "...to get a deep, rich tone, you have to use heavier ga. strings." And it's true that the jazz guys mostly use 11 to 13 ga. strings. Chromes don't come in a 9 ga. set, so I decided to try set of XL Half Rounds.I don't play jazz, but I play jazz guitars, 'cause I like that sound. So, what a surprise when I found my hollow-body guitar sounded better with the 9 ga. Half Rounds; no loss of bottom end, and lovely new overtones in the high mids. I was so impressed, I ordered two more sets, one for my semi-hollow body Ibanez and my solid-body grab 'n go guitar. Both sound better ─ to my ears. Your mileage may vary.I was hesitant to try the 9 ga. strings because one Amazon review said the string tension would be higher with the Half Rounds. This is absolutely not what I have found. I got exactly the fretting-hand relief I was hoping for. Love these strings.

Provate per curiosità più che altro, gran sorpresa. Le corde avvolte hanno un aspetto opaco che all'occhio non è molto piacevole, però un tocco incredibile, lisce ma anche con un grip bestiale, si attaccano sotto le dita, mollando un po' la presa invece scorrono via bene senza produrre il classico "squeak" delle corde convenzionali. I cantini sono i medesimi di tutte le altre, serie "plain", ovviamente. Forse un pelo meno brillanti e più calde, ma forse forse, la differenza è sul feeling più che sulla resa acustica. Per contro costano un botto rispetto alle normali XL120, le monto da un po' e mi pare reggano bene all'usura sui tasti, speriamo tengano bene (taglia 9-42 pagate 13.50)

These are a lovely string and offer a unique tone with a little more trebble than usnal. There are softer than normal, so go for a gauge higher. Fitted to a '77 Les Paul.
