After using these I found that these are excellent for tuning stability & great sound, the gauge of these feel nice & they don't feel cheep, works very well for a variety of techniques from everything from Rock to Metal, these string work as advertised. Highly recommend.

I used to think that Ernie Ball Slinky strings were pretty much the basic standard for generic electric guitar purposes. That still might be the case, but D'Addarios are so prevalent everywhere that now I think it's kind of a toss-up. I have been using Elixir strings but I'm starting to think their higher cost isn't worth it, at least for electric strings (I still love Elixir strings for acoustic guitars though). And I have used stainless steel strings for electric guitars in the past and like them better than nickel strings except for the fact that they are noisier. So I bought this pack to serve the needs for just basic stringing of my guitars. They will easily fill that need.

I go through a lot of guitar strings in general. I like buying these 10-packs to keep costs under 6 bucks a set.I particularly love how these 9's have great brightness, but the low E string is slightly thicker than normal 9 gauge set which enables a heavier chugging sound on any guitar. I also find that they have great tuning stability and are overall a pleasure to play.I have tried others, but I always keep coming back to these as my go-to strings of choice.
