D'Addario Gitaarsnaren - XL Nikkel Elektrische Gitaarsnaren - EXL148 - Perfecte Intonatie, Consistent Gevoel, Betrouwbare Duurzaamheid - Voor 6 Snarige Gitaren - 12-60 Extra Zwaar

I've used D'Addario strings for nearly 10 years. Their strings have always performed well and consistently from set to set for a reasonable price. I'm sure there's nicer strings out there but among the four brands I've tried, D'Addario has worked best for me.I recently bought a Hagstrom Viking electric baritone guitar, and it arrived with the protective smut the factory smears on the fretboard, and corroded strings. After a week of playing to make sure no gremlins were hiding in the guitar I pulled off the old strings, cleaned the fingerboard and put these D'Addarios on. The guitar's tonal nature to my ear is very dark, dull, and woody. These strings made the right kind of tone tweak to it; They restored some of the highs in the guitar's tone yet they don't sound tinny or brittle.For my six string electrics, I run either EXL 110's or EXL 115's (10-46's and 11-49's) and for my acoustic, I run EJ16's. These strings perform just as well as the just-listed string types in all aspects, to include tuning stability and reliability. When the time comes to change strings on the baritone again, I'll pick another set of these up!

Great brand for guitar strings. I have played guitar for over 30 years. I know more than your friend Brad. Trust me.

I tried D'Addario strings many years ago, but apparently have always been an Erine Ball kind of guy. Unfortunately the only string set that Erine Ball offers that's really the right gauge for me for C Standard tuning is their "Not Even Slinky set". That set uses a size 24 third string that sounds TERRIBLE no matter what. It will never intonate properly and always sounds out of whack even played open tuned perfectly. it is just way too large for a plain string. This set on the other hand, has a size 20 third string. It is much better overall and I didn't suffer nearly as many issues with it. I also like how the bottom strings are a little bit heavier. The 60 is perfect for the 6th string. They seem to hold up fairly well for me and they're priced right. I slapped these on my Jackson and was ripping out some In Flames for days. I would suggest you try these over the Not Even Slinky strings. I've read reviews saying these are too heavy for C Standard....I don't know how anyone in their right mind could think that. They're still incredibly easy to bend. So apparently I must have hands of steel or something..

Corde arrivate in tempi record, come sempre. Ho comprato questa serie perché non avendo una chitarra baritona dovevo prendere delle corde con una sezione più doppia. (sto registrando delle canzoni con un'accordatura standard in C)Tengono bene, Il ponte regge ma ovviamente ho dovuto ri-settarlo da capo perché la tensione é completamente diversa dalle corde che avevo prima. Probabilmente, una volta finita la canzone, porterò l'accordatura da C a D e al lascerò così!Consiglio vivamente questa cordiera, ha un sustain e dei bassi mostruosi ma non é decisamente per tutti e per tutte le chitarre. I just started using these Extra Heavy (12-60) strings for Standard C tuning on 25.5" scale guitars with great results. I definitely like them better than the EB Not Even Slinky set for low tunings. The 3rd string can still be a little troublesome in pitch and tone, which is common with plain strings this big, but it also came down to the guitar for me. My higher-end guitars don't have as much trouble while the lower-end guitars that do don't have the issue in standard tunings.I use the balanced packs (10-46 for 24.5" scale) and (9-40 for 25.5" scale) on my standard tuning guitars for the past 4 years, which I actively gig and am VERY happy with them.
