It is quite a handy sized radio. And for its limited size the loudspeaker is pretty good and capable to get a decent quality sound out. Good enough for radio stations as you expect.Also its small design means it will fit in many places. Yes it is plastic, yes it is cheap, but within those expectations it works just fine. And it uses the same controls as many other models so it is easy to get into. Very easy to set up. Just set the mode, scan and you are done.DAB+ works great[depending of course on where you put the radio ;)]FM works very good too. Both obviously combined with the auto-scan feature.As long as you are within a spot where there is good signal you get good audio quality.In short, it is small, does its work both FM and DAB+ and the sound quality is for its size good enough. It is capable to get out enough sound within the expected quality of FM/DAB Radio.Oh right its inbuild battery. I am more used to AA batteries but this design has it's good points. I mean who doesn't has a charger around right?

Kleine dab+ radio welke werkt op accu. Na 2,5 werkdag dient de accu weerk opgeladen te worden. Ontvangst is door de antenne goed te noemen.

Deze radio gekocht week geleden volledig opgeladen na 1 1/2 dag dus totaal 2 uurtjes aan gestaan batterij leeg. Niet aan beginnen. Jammer ziet er leuk uit maar, niet doen.

Very nice DAB radio with 5 preset buttons on top. This feature is why I made my purchase. I have a wall plug in DAB/internet radio and DAB pocket radio with headphones, but this is my first portable DAB radio with a built in speaker. Already used in bathroom, kitchen and garden. DAB reception is excellent, however I am only about 3 miles from local transmitter. Used for more than 8 hours in the last 2 days, so hopeful that the claimed battery life of around 15 hours may be accurate. Decent output from speaker. If I was being very picky, the volume is stepped and base could be a bit more sturdy. Would I buy again, yes indeed, I may just buy a spare given price of around £30. The wood effect is very good, but is slightly more expensive.Update : Battery life does last around 15 hours as claimed !

Format réduit, esthétique, et pratique. Ce n'est bien sûr pas le son d'une chaîne hi-fi, mais c'est un son très correct et clair pour la taille de cette radio. Des fonctions très pratiques et très facile à manipuler... Je regrette juste l'absence du Bluetooth pour pouvoir la mettre en connexion avec une autre enceinte. Sinon, c'est très bien...

Bought this radio to play mainly in the garden for my wife, she liked the retro wood style effect. Build quality is good although it is fairly light and could easily be knocked over.The usb recharging feature is a big bonus, all the dab radios we have owned all suffered from the same problem - they ate batteries. Mainly I suspect due to the constant backlight and scrolling text, mercifully with this radio the backlight dims after a few seconds. The battery seems to last quite well, after fully charging and playing most days for 4 - 5 days it’s still has some power left according to the battery monitor.In my opinion it’s easy to set up, after charging the battery for 5 hours then switching it on the radio automatically scanned for channels. I really only listen to 5 channels and they were all there. Select the channel you want and press the preset button and it’s stored - easy really.Sound quality is pretty good considering it’s size, you’re not going to get a booming bass response, but for casual listening in the garden/kitchen it’s more than adequate.Would I buy it again ? Yes definitely, for the mains/battery recharge operation alone it’s worth it.
