It works well waving it at bugs. Its a bit surprising at first.

Bought this for my wife. Seems good quality construction and works really well. The loud bangs when an insect gets caught are very satisfying ;-) Really makes a difference in the amount of flies in the house that are there because of horses in vicinity.One small thing: the light that is supposed to attract insects in auto mode is quite bright (much brighter than other model we bought before for other room). So after one night we banned it from the bedroom and use it in home office.

Ik was een beetje sceptisch na het lezen van een aantal negatieve reviews maar omdat ik nergens een oplaadbare vliegenmepper van een bekend merk kon vinden, had ik deze toch maar besteld.Ik vind het vooralsnog een top product. Het voelt haast illegaal hoeveel stroom dit ding uitstoot. Ik schrik elke keer van het harde geluid en lichtflits als ik weer een mug te pakken heb. Overduidelijk wel Chinese troep (vandaar 4 sterren). Er ratelt iets in het handvat na enkele dagen, het blauwe licht is overduidelijk LED en geen UV maar daar ging ik al vanuit, maar als je daar doorheen kijkt is het nog steeds een goed en redelijk mooi product.Ik kijk eerlijk gezegd nu wel uit naar de aankomende muggenplaag. 😅

De eerste keer dat ik het gebruikte was met een fruitvliegje en schrok van de knal die dit veroorzaakte. Dus wees voorbereid op de herrie en met een gerust hart wetende dat de beestjes er niks van gevoeld hebben.

Purchased this 24th May, 2024. On 20th of May, 2025 it caught fire and melted in my living room. Not sure why but clearly not safe.

Ik vind het mooie en handig voor de vliegen en muggen ik kan nu lekker slapen zonder dat ik word geprikt.

Pros- Fruit flies fly into it, which works well.- Feels sturdy- The protection actually works (as far as I've tested it)- USB ChargingCons- Regular flies almost never fly into it and when they do they don't die instantly, they fly on and die in some random place in your house like stuck in the curtain, latched to the wall or on the ground.- Manual action requires you to zap some flies up to 4 times before they are actually dead.- I'm not sure if flies suffer or not, but if they do this is probably the worst torture device out there.- Not easy to move around very quickly, like with the lighter variants- Old USB slot

Parto scrivendo che è ancora poco che utilizzo questa racchetta ammazza insetti e perciò valutarne la longevità è ancora un azzardo. Nel caso di problemi tornerò a rivedere la mia valutazione. Ora mi focalizzo sull'efficacia di questo prodotto: funziona e funziona bene. Come da descrizione, può essere utilizzato come racchetta e di conseguenza separato dalla sua base di riposo/ricarica così da dedicarsi personalmente alla caccia delle zanzare (per es.), oppure, come faccio spesso io, inserito nella sua base di ricarica, alimentata e con luce attira insetti accesa. Devo dire che mi ha sorpreso perché anche in modalità "statica" e con una luce non troppo intensa, attira ed elimina insetti fastidiosi senza dargli una seconda chance. Un però c'è e qui mi rifaccio al titolo di questa recensione. A mio malgrado, sono costretto ad utilizzare la racchetta solo in determinate occasioni ovvero quando il mio cane non si trova nei paraggi. Sembra una sciocchezza ma il mio cane, di piccola taglia, è terrorizzato dallo schianto/rumore che si produce quando un insetto viene intercettato dalla racchetta stessa. Devo dire che le prime volte un piccolo sobbalzo l'ho fatto pure io; il rumore è molto forte e il contestuale lampo di luce lo è altrettanto. Fa un rumore che ricorda uno scoppio! Il cane ne è totalmente terrorizzato! Per cui il mio utilizzo si limita alle serate in cui il cane ha piani diversi e non resta in casa.. Termino dicendo che i materiali utilizzati sono leggerini e questo è positivo perché rende maneggevole l'utilizzo della racchetta e negativo perché insomma sembra "plastichina". In conclusione sono contento terrore del cane a parte..

Da bei unserer alten leider der Akku den Geist aufgegeben hat, musste eine neue her. Ich finde die Idee mit der Ladeschale und dem UV Licht sehr gut und es funktioniert tatsächlich auch. Im Dunkeln hört man es öfter "knallen" und es hat wider eine Fliege erlegt. Die Handhabung ist auch sehr leicht, sicher und verständlich. Wir können Sie nur empfehlen.

The bat was great for first couple of days. Did not need it for a long time. House flies came in all of a sudden. Recharged it. Used it, and got rid of one fly. Then, the thing died. Just like that. Thought charger had gone bad. Tried a bunch of chargers, nope. Thing is dead, couldn't give it an electric shock to revive it.

Clairement une arme de destruction massive pour insectes 🤣Fonctionne très bien, système de recharge pratique et c’est top de pouvoir utiliser le chargeur en support pour le garder allumer en permanence par exemple sur une terrasse l’été
