I have used it to build a level indicator for my water tank. The colors are nice and bright. I have managed to have 2v over the LED. The side with text is the anode of the LEDs.

the sockets are too thin and to hard to put the leds bar into it for to be used.. i have removed one and a socket pin come out (it’s also too hard to remove the leds bar from the socket)..the best way is to use 10 pins female header as my last picture but need to buy it (or cut a longer header for to have 10 pins)..note that the light intensity is different for each colors when used with the same resistor value, so, for a nice visual effect, each colors need a different resistor value.. me, i use those ohms values:Red with 470, Yellow with 220, Green with 2400 et Blue with 470 ohms..a driver IC exist for a 10 leds bar graph but now obsolete (analog to bar graph led display) which would be nice to find..

Arrived ok but a red LED on two of them, and a green LED on another two didn't work. Got a refund and told not to bother sending them back so 2 stars for free stuff. Yay?...also the products are shown with 8 dip sockets but say just 6 are included, and only sent 4.
