Glass was not as thick as expected but sill serves the purpose of sipping warm brandy comfortably.

This Set of 2 traditional crystal balloon snifter glasses by Dartington are a little larger than my old glasses but are much better. They are beautifully made & the quality is superb. You can pay alot more for glasses of the same quality. These are also dishwasher safe should you choose to clean them this way. Use wise when turned on its side & filled to the lip of the glass then stood upright you get the correct measure. It sits nicely in the palm of the hand & the bowl is a good size for swirling which narrows towards the lip allowing the aromas to develop in the glass. A real pleasure to sip a brandy from in an evening. I would highly recommend these glasses to any Cognac/Armagnac drinker.

Well, these are excellent brandy shifters good shape in the hand and a generous size, they could be slightly heavier glass, I think the rim edge is too thin and could break if not extremely careful when using.
