Dating Cards: for more productive, insightful and playful encounters

I bouight relationship cards from them before and to be honest those other cards were confusing. These Dating Cards are way nicer. They have very practical questions that I would really use on a date with a stranger to help each of us know each other better. I think this is a great way to make a date flow with both more fun and less awkwardness because it gives you both stuff to laugh at and talk about. Hopefully your date is fun and easy to talk to before you even get to the cards or else that date probably isn't going well.

These are the conversations you should be having to develop or deepen any relationship. It's the stuff people really want to talk about but seldom have the confidence to broach these topics. Even friends and family enjoy these conversation starters.

Overall, I think these dating cards are fun, affordable, and useful. That said, I just got these to use with my husband on date nights. We like using things like this to direct conversation and learn more about each other. The cards are more designed for getting to know someone that you are in the early stages of dating, however, there are also lots of questions that are unique and you may not think to ask someone you've known for a long time or that have answers that will change over time.I would not recommend pulling these out on the first few dates as it can be a bit off putting and strange. Though you can certainly look at them ahead of time to get some ideas on questions you'd be comfortable asking. The levels of questioning (easy, medium, hard) are interesting, but I don't agree with all the level labels. For instance, one of the "easy" questions is "Sketch the course of three previous relationships you've had." That seems a bit intense to me for an "easy" question especially depending on the relationship history of the person you are talking to.When my husband and I were in our early stages of dating we used to google questions together to ask each other so we could get to know each other more deeply. These cards would have come in handy then. First, because they are insightful and interesting questions. Second, because when it is an invasive question it is easier to ask because it is the card that prompted you so there is less discomfort. It makes getting to know each other a fun truth or dare (but all truth) kind of game.

These cards are great for dating and any relationship at any level. The questions are mostly generic enough to spark conversations that are getting to know you better, getting to know you deeper, or getting to know you intimately (not too many of these). There are just a couple of questions I would not ask. I think these questions are good for any age group. It might be awkward to bring these out on a date. It might be good to prep beforehand or run to the bathroom and gather some ideas. If the person is confident and a bit silly about it, they could whip them out :). No pictures as the included pictures accurately represent the product I received and there is no need for duplicate pictures.

I think these may have been cut oddly because the entire deck does not sit flat on the table. Makes me not want to use them at all.
