Despite some of the poor reviews, I decided to give it a try. If it works OK, it's a great price compared to similar tools from non-Amazon sources.While I haven't used it yet on an engine, I did connect it to my compressor to check for leaks, adjustability and calibration. Now, I have a fairly large compressor for a DIY'er (3HP, 115psi max, 9.1CFM@ 90psi). When I first connected it, I couldn't get any pressure to register on the gauges even cranking the regulator in all the way. Turns out the Schrader valve was "stuck". I pressed it in using a small punch and it freed up. After that the pressure on the tool gauge was within 5 psi of my compressor's gauge (at 100psi).Adjusting the regulator on the tool resulted in some sluggish changes to the tool's gauge but eventually it leveled off. I then connected the hose with no cap to see how the leakdown gauge would respond. As you might guess, left open, the leak down was 100%. I covered the opening with my thumb to restrict the air and the gauge climbed. When I completely sealed it, leakdown was zero.There were no leaks from any of the fittings or crimp connections on the hoses.Some complaints were about the fittings themselves not fitting their compressor hoses. Yes, there are different fittings from various manufacturers and not all are compatible. I run into this with other air tools. Fortunately, all of mine fit and seal well. In fact, my Snap-on Compression gauge comes with adapters for different plug sizes. This fittings also work, so I'll use them instead of the adapters that came with the tool. They allow me to reach into the deepest spark plug cavities.One minor nit is that there is no vent valve but unless you have zero leakdown (not likely in any real world test), the pressure inside the cylinder will bleed off quickly even in the best engine.I'll update my review once I've done a real engine test.

Worked good. Easy to use & set up & use. Seems well made. Durability? Time will tell.
