De waterpomp op de VW Transporter en Touareg wordt aangedreven door de tandwielen die de timing aandrijven.
Het is nuttig om de waterpomp te vervangen bij het vervangen van de distributieriem om schade aan de motor te voorkomen als het lager in de waterpomp uitvalt.
Deze gereedschappen zijn essentieel voor het verwijderen van de waterpomp en de uitlijning van de motor in het bovenste dode punt.
Compatibel met VW T5, Touareg 2,5L 5-cilinder TDI-motoren.

Impossible d’extraire le pignon avec l’extracteur fournis, les extrémités rondes ne permettent pas d’attraper le pignon sur mon moteur BNZJ’ai été obligé d’acheter un autre kit, avec des extrémités comportant des encoches !Du temps et de l’argent de perdu !

The gear puller doesn't grip the gear properly, I had to grind and file some material away to allow more of the tool to grip the gear, and also use a pair of grips to put torque on the tool so it wouldn't slip off.Luckily I have my engine out, it would have been almost impossible with the engine in the vehicle.I recommend heating the pump housing before trying to remove the pump, mine was very corroded and stuck, I had to weld a bigger nut on the end of the puller shaft because I broke two 1/4" ratchets and an 8mm socket.Be sure that it's threaded on to the pump shaft enough or it will pull the threads off.
