I like that it changes the angle to all sides, has a great zoom and is silent. It has a wide zoom and detects movement very quick. So happy with the Genbolt for security!

This is a GR8 and very affordble, reliable and wireless surveillance camera on distance incl. 3/4G card. (With FREE 300Mb) Unfortunately the lowest montly fee €9,00 /3Gb is way to much for us....... Yearly only need 10/12Gb so unnecessary expensive. Hope till next buy

First impression when unboxing; nice size User Manual with text size that is easy to read with screen shots of the interface, in English, French, Spanish, German and Italian. The packaging seemed little undersized for the camera, but it could be, because it was repackaged after installation of the sim card.Using the "GENBOLT CAM" App, I was able to connect/configure the camera that was connected by network cable without any issue. A couple of things that needed to be configured after connecting for the first time; setting up password for admin account and my time zone.It came with sim card pre-installed, without requiring any configuration for 4G, it connected to Rogers Wireless, I am based in BC, Canada.I discovered that when the network cable is unplugged, it automatically switches over to a 4G connection. When the camera is using 4G connection, it is shown on the screen, in my case it read "Rogers Wireless" followed by signal strength bars. Once the network cable was plugged back in, it switched back to network connection, which is a particularly good feature to ensure you only use 4G connection when the network is not available.A noticeably clear video, even in pitch dark in normal mode, or in colour mode with built-in led lights. PTZ works well, it supports FTP uploads of recordings, email, and phone notifications, does not require you to have any subscription to cloud service. I am pleased with this purchase, as it gives me a 4G backup connection on top of good AI motion sensors that minimize false alarms. I have not tested the POE yet, I used the power adapter that came with the camera.I am the owner of 4 different models Genbolt cameras already; GB213H, GB209H, ‎GB213X and ‎GB219K, they have all performed very well over a year and half on construction site. I mounted the solar camera on to 16ft long 2" x 6" while it was on the ground and secured the 2" x 6" to fence post over year ago and it still works flawlessly.Great product!Update: 17-May-2023I have managed to successfully connect this camera to a HIKVision NVR port with POE support, it works great! It is connected using ONVIF protocol, and powered by POE.

This is a camera that works both from a LAN cable or from a cellular 4G connection.The WiFi module have been replaced by the 4G module so there's no WiFi in this camera. But this is supposed to be a camera to be used where your WiFi cannot reach. It can be a small boat harbor or parking lot that the human recognition alarm then can send an email with pictures to someone that can take actions. You can manage and watch the live video using the 4G cellular connection.It comes with a sim card that works in all countries and you can sign up for a monthly or yearly subscription to get it running at a reasonable cost. Each picture takes up something like 300KB so 3 pictures sent use 1MB and you get 1GB, 3000 pictures, as the minimum subscription for a month for something like $10. When you watch live video it's using something like 100MB per minute. You can set the bitrate lower anywhere down to 2MB per minute but the video will not be as sharp and moving objects are more blurry. But as you can manage the setting remotely from your phone you can change settings at any time. In fact there are two video streams that you switch between in the monitor view and they can use totally different resolutions, one you normally use with low speed and one where you have high speed and high resolution if you need to identify any faces or capture the license plate of a car in the highest possible resolution.The lens in this camera seems super sensitive when used at night in a very dark area, see the picture. The camera do switch from LAN cable use to 4G when you pull the cable, but it doesn't sense if the LAN has lost its internet connection and automatically switches over to 4G. So cannot be used as a failsafe device if someone cuts the internet connection. But as you anyhow need to pay the annual fee then it doesn't really matter.This camera, GB213-4G are identical to Genbolts GB213 with WiFi so it's just the communication method that have changed. The user manual that comes with Genbolt cameras are a thick book with excellent descriptions and pictures of any type of installation and setup you would like to use. The biggest drawback with Chinese cameras has been their user manuals, just one sheet of paper with microscopic texts, and lacking user support, but Genbolt seems to make a big effort in this area to make their customers happy. The instruction book have examples of the settings to use for most email servers like gmail and yahoo so it's real easy to configure everything. Genbolt are so far the most easy camera to use of the 10 I have and have all necessary settings available to fine tune picture and microphone sound, where many other cameras only have a few settings, and the mic are super sensitive and hears more than what I can do with my own ears.
