This mandoline is terrible and not worth its price. The blades are not sharp enough and it is virtually impossible to cut neatly even soft vegetables .

The Julienne cutter / cube system is spring loaded. One of my spring failed after (trying) to cut just 5-6 carrots.Moreover, the main reason for me to purchase this specific, quite expansive mandoline was the cubing system. I was hoping for an easier way to cut my vegs into thin cubes of 2-4mm for various preparations, as doing that with a knife is lengthy. Well, I ended up eating the 56 carrots and the scrap this produced myself, pick a knife and do it manually again.My very small sample of 5-6 carrots was completely butchered, and the result not satisfying at all. Maybe that could get improved, with more practice or by simply switching a bit how the carrots are placed, but then it doesn't remove the other issue of charriot size. Anything below 10mm will pass under the charriot, so you have to finish the cubes by hand with a protective glove anyway. Close to 10mm, the resistance of the blades might make the vegs roll and break under the bell and then pass underneath. And so you lose the easy cubing solution for that, you have to finish by hand. Sadly, carrots are rarely much thicker than 2.5cm, so that leaves about 50% to do by hand. Not great.A better engineered chariot / bell could solve this easily.Sending it back.

Produkt po wyciągnięciu z opakowania wydaje się solidny. Niestety próba poszatkowania zwykłej cebuli to mordęga. Ostrze prawie nie tną warzywa, trzeba włożyć bardzo dużo siły a efekt końcowy i tak nie jest zadowalający. Dodatkowo dookoła tworzy się bałagan w postaci skrawków cebuli. Szatkownicy użyłem zgodnie z zaleceniami producenta. Smarowanie prowadnic olejem nie pomaga. Mam wrażenie jakby to był produkt z telezakupów a nie od De Buyer. Na filmiku pokazowym od De Buyer wyraźnie widać jak szybko i bez problemów można poszatkować różne warzywa. Niestety rzeczywistość jest zupełnie inna.

Le produit est de bonne facture.En revanche la quantité de nourriture qui reste bloquée (et non utilisable) dans la cloche est inacceptable.Je n ai malheureusement pas pris en compte les autres avis mentionnant ce problème.

braucht Übung, dann gibt es sehr gute Ergebnisse. Scheiben, Waffeln, Julienne, Brunoise - alles klappt.
