Unit came a week earlier than predicted. Had to rush fit an Australian power plug as it came with a molded on Pommie plug (?) But the shakes have gone due to the machine working fine and filling ME up with caffiene...!!!

Although we always have some type of Nespresso machine I thought it would be nice to buy an actual Nespresso machine than use a compatible like the L’or Barista Sublime which has conked out again and sent back to L’or for the second time in as many months!This little red beauty is made by Delonghi. For a two person home this is perfect and the water tank holds about enough water for four coffees.The lever action is smooth and it warms up quite quickly and is ready in no time to dispense a coffee which is at a decent temperature. Adding heated and frothed milk makes a lovely latte.The pod collector basket also holds about 4 pods. We received a welcome pack of 6 coffee pods with the machine. It’s fairly quiet, 33 decibels and a lot faster and quieter than the previously mentioned machine. It’s also a lot smaller and takes up less space on the worktop.My only problem with the machine and this is a gripe about the supplier as opposed to the manufacturer and that is it was fitted with a European 2 pin plug and that’s just not acceptable for a machine supplied in the UK.I read reviews on Amazon before buying and some said that they received a ‘quite large’ European to UK plug adaptor, we did not receive one.I just ordered one from Amazon and it came next day.The 5 star review is for the machine, the supplier only gets 3 stars.

Già in possesso di una macchina nespresso Delonghi identica da alcuni anni, ne ho presa un’altra per un regalo vista la qualità del prodotto. Caffè ottimo con capsule originali e non (uso diverse marche di compatibili e non ho mai avuto problemi con le capsule, poi il gusto del caffè è personale).
