DeLonghi koffieuitloop ESAM 5400-5500-5600-5700 Perfecta

Having only given less than £200 for the DeLonghi ESAM5600 bean to cup machine as the milk foaming didn’t work (and I fixed that with a £25 part) and once fixed coffee flowed, it tasted good but the residue in the bottom of the cups was a bit troublesome which resulting in me dismounting the whole machine and washing all the key parts. This improved the situation but not the bits in the cup. So I discovered that the coffee was push through the front and dropped into the spout. So the hunt was on and removing the door I found coffee residue in all the corners and bottom edges of the bottom of the door and in getting the spout off I felt vindicated to find the cause of the the problem. Unfortunately I stuck the whole door assembly in the dishwasher. This cleaned everything but not the coffee stains in the spout which you rub on to your finger. So I put the spout back in the dishwasher for a couple more goes. This didn’t work and resulted in the chrome coming off the part (which I didn’t release came off) and the spout still the same. So imagine my surprise to find both parts on Amazon and with Prime I had it next day.
