Was looking for an affordable slow close seat,bought this one to give it a try. Very easy to install. The seat is thick and durable looking, very comfortable. I was so impressed I bought another for other bathroom. This is one thing that you never knew you needed until you have it. Great buy!

Works great. I was initially worried it didn't quite fit (I thought they were all standard), but I kept turning the threaded nut (whatever that is called), and it went on eventually!!!

The quality of the toilet seat is good, however, it is not universal as it claims to be. The hinge of the toilet seat that attaches to the toilet is not adjustable. We have 4 different types of toilets in our house, and I tried to fit it onto each one, and it did not fit.I think the labelling of 'universal' is misleading when the hinge of the toilet seat can not be adjusted to fit. I was forced to go purchase two toilet seats from my local hardware store, and they both fitted with ease because the hinge of the seat was adjustable.
