I bought this book for the Bumble Bee and the Liebestraum adaptations. Both are excellent. But, I love the entire book. Some really beautiful classic music are in this book. I would says this book is best for early intermediates to late intermediates. Not easy-- Not beginner.

Having spent a portion of my youth struggling to play classics as the composer wrote them, having small hands, I was overjoyed to take up the keyboard in my (shall we say) middle years and find this book of delights.Now I find I can really enjoy playing classics as these pieces are carefully edited to make music pleasurable, and if the odd note or two is missing, or its been transposed to a more manageable key, does it really matter?If you aim to be a concert pianist, then look elsewhere, but if you want to enjoy yourself, buy this.

Great variety of songs to play and for differing abilities. My younger son likes this too and enjoys playing some of the tunes.

I had this book back in 1973 when I was in grade school. It's almost the same but it is missing several songs that I remembered were in there. I know this because I have remnants of that old book. Love it.

In 1980 I bought a used piano after 20 years of not having one. Re-building my piano skills was tedious. Then I bought this book. Suddenly I was able to make music. The arrangements were somewhat simple yet not easy.My book is now well worn and needs replacement. I was delighted to see that it was still in print. In fact, I bought two books, one to replace my worn out one and one for a friend who, like me, is trying to rebuild his skills.This book was used at my wedding in 2004 - the Meditation from Thais!
