These inktense pans will be great for painting landscapes when I travel and can't take my oil paints. The vibrancy matches what I can achieve at home in the studio with my other mediums and is so much fun to work with. I also like that the colour barely moves when you re-wet them, which is why I don't often use normal watercolours. I will be using these inktense pans regularly!

Zuvor hatte ich mir einzelne Farbstifte von Inktense gekauft und war von der Farbbrillanz bereits begeistert. Den Farbkasten, den man wie normale Aquarellfarben einsetzen kann, mag ich noch lieber als die Stifte. Die Farben sind sehr stark pigmentiert und lassen sich leicht anlösen. Allerdings lassen sie sich, einmal aufgetragen, nicht mehr anlösen.Das muss man wissen, ist es doch sehr anders als bei Aquarell.Mit der 24er Farbauswahl bin ich absolut zufrieden, bislang fehlte mir nichts.

Pros: great way to have both sets of inktense pans in one case, perfect for studio or on the go work.Brilliant colours that handle and mix somewhat like watercolour but don't lift ***as much** as regular watercolour.Fast drying and work on more support than watercolour.Great for pen and wash technique for casual sketchingCons: this set doesn't have a slot for the waterbrush that you get with the 12 piece setsReplacement colour pans are expensive to import singly and nobody sells broken sets this side of the AtlanticIt's not completely true that colours can't be lifted once dry. Otherwise these wouldn't work as paint pans! However they do dry much more quickly than watercolour from a pan, and activate very easily. You can glaze washes quite well if using the right paper with minimal mixing.Plastic case will stain eventually but wipes clean so this is not a huge issue.Last gripe is that the colour key is a printed cutout from the box rather than the plastic inserts that come in smaller sets, but most artists would make their own paper colour swatches anyway.

Liebe diese Farben, sie sind so schön hoch pigmentiert und es gibt ein paar sehr schöne Farbtöne, sehr intensiv, leuchtend wie zB Smaragdgrün, dunkles Türkis, sehr schönes dunkles Blau und Violett, mir gefällt die Farbpalette gut, bei den Rottöne hätte ich mir ein noch kräftigeres Orangerot gewünscht.
