I have had the 3L Streamer for several years and it is still as good as new. There was no doubt that when I needed a smaller bladder this is what I was going to get. This 2L Streamer fits perfectly into my Deuter day pack as well as my cat backpack. It gives my kitty a lot more room to roam in her pack.I love that one can put almost any beverage in it.It has a wide mouth which makes for super easy cleaning. And the tab at the bottom makes it easy to hang upside down with a clothes pin for drying.Super simple and easy to use. Just remove the cap, twist, and drink. If you need water for a pet or for rinsing hands, etc., this allows for that. Just hold the Streamer a little higher so gravity can do the work.I have never had to replace anything for it as nothing has broken, but if need be, one could purchase the Streamer Helix Valve, etc.I also have the Thermo Bag and the Streamer tube insulator for cold winter days. Nothing has frozen using them. Can’t go wrong with this Streamer.

The hydration bladder does the job and the water tastes less of plastic than with some other brands, perhaps. With the wrap-over closure system it can be troublesome to get the orange clip into place - the top of the bag was found to have been smeared with grease by the manufacturer! The bite valve restricts the flow of water; I found that the effort required to suck the water through was too much when walking briskly. In order to clean and dry the bite valve and tube the dirt cover is removed and then the very difficult job of removing the soft cover takes quite a lot of effort - I had to use the blunt side of a knife to get it started. Then a small spring and a plastic valve piston pop out and they have to be carefully set aside. I purchased a mini air pump to dry out the tube with its end fittings still in place - that might apply to any other such delivery tubes, so that particular point is not a criticism of this hydration bladder. In summary, the system does work, so far used successfully three times, but I would recommend using a different type of delivery valve.
