DEWALT Spantang m. Moer, 6,35 mm voor DW621

I now own the 8 mm that csme with my router, and the 6 mm and 1/4" (=6.35 mm) Dewalt collets because I have a range of router bit sizes for different projects.If you wonder, like I did after I ordered 6 mm and 1/4" together, whether a 6 mm bit would be OK in a 1/4" collet I can tell you that it won't. It might only be 0.35 mm difference but the 1/4" collet will not lock tight on the 6 mm bit. So I am glad I ordered both.Looking forward to practising with my new bits.

DeWalt shipped a product with a missing collet. They prevaricated for so long I bought this on Amazon. Good quality, very happy with it.

I bought the European 230vac router to use in Australia, The router description was vague as in the specs it said 8mm & 1/4….I discovered that mainland Europeans use 8mm bits as standard over 1/4 (6.35mm) and that’s what came with the router.… I needed 1/4” for my needs.This fits the dewalt D26200-qs model (that i bought), as you would expect.

Looks like a sturdy collet, but does not fit all DW621 Models.I have a DW621-xe, and the collet nut is way too small.Given this is an official DeWalt retailer, I am marking them down for having several incompatible models with the same name.This Australian model does not seem to have aftermarket support.
