I use them for wood whittling, mostly the left hand one to hold the wood. The rubber coating gets worn out in about 6 months from wood splinters and sharp edges (with about 1h of whittling a day), but otherwise it has excellent grip and decent cut resistance.

My main comment is you should order one size larger than the instructions suggest. I find mine just a bit too tight. For the rest, I have not had time to use them much, so cannot say if I really and happy with them.

I chop a lot of veggies and it is great to slip on a glove and feel safer when chopping.

The elastic in these gloves was not flexible enough. Normally, size 2XL is plenty roomy enough for me, but these compressed my hands so much that they ached after a few minutes of wear. I gave them away to someone with much smaller hands than me.
