First pair I had since a young man

I'm 5'-11" tall and 200lbs. These are a good fit and feel for me.

I purchased this pair of Dickie overalls as a working garment, you know for working around the yard, woodworking, tractor maintenance, farm work .... for labor). Initially I thought the fabric was nicely, artificially faded and really soft, but perhaps to soft. I also noticed that some of the seams didn't line up well (not a big deal or very important) and the suspender stays allowed the suspenders to roll (again not a huge deal) but it speaks to workmanship and QC process. As I'm 6' tall and 170lbs I ordered a 34 x 32 (I'm not overweight). They fit ok in the waist but W A Y too long, we're talk a 3" cuff to long.On day one I was loading some weeds into my pickup bed, which went well until I stepped up into the cab of my truck which resulted in rather large tear in the crouch area (see pic), again 30 minutes into my day! So they got returned. I'll go back to my tried and true brand that is tough as nails. I won't mention the name, but they are made in the USA. I just thought I'd try Dickies. I especially liked that they were made in Mexico, which is why I purchased them. I think it's important to support our neighbors.I'm sure that the Dickie brand can withstand one bad review. My experience was perhaps an anomaly as I own other Dickie products. I hope that Dickies will examine the QC process for fabric quality and workmanship because there are still people out there that don't work in an office but rather work in the trades as builders, skilled workers and laborers (men & women) and they deserve a quality garment that works as hard as they do and won't fail them. Perhaps these overalls were better suited for a office environment; not that working in an office is not hard work, just a less physically demanding one.

Only wore them for a few weeks before the crotch tore. Also, I prefer the chest pocket to have a zipper pocket for my thingamabobs.

Overalls felt sturdy and well made. But trying them on they were really slim. Typically I wear a 34 in pants and in the other couple overalls I have, but these were just to above the waist and felt short.
