This stocking is absolutely beautiful. I managed to get it on sale for $29 CAD. I previously made a very simple stocking and thought I'd tackle something more difficult. I had the image reversed by my brother-in-law to match the first one I made. Every single square of this stocking had a stitch in it. I'm so pleased with the way it turned out. I had plenty of floss left over. I didn't use the felt provided in the kit to sew the stocking together as it is pretty cheap and after all the hours of work put in to it, finishing it off with the cheap felt wouldn't do it justice. A friend sewed the final stocking together using some taffeta and gold cording. Was exactly what I had envisioned. Love it.

A challenging kit, as Dimensions Gold kits usually are, had to learn a couple new backstitch techniques, and didn't totally incorporate the metallic thread because its the bane of my life, but I think it turned out gorgeous none the less. Took approx 2 1/2 months from start to finish stitching on average 2 hours daily. Seeing it complete is making me excited to do another one! I recommend this stocking kit if you like a challenge.
