Bought this for a friend to upgrade his 250w ebike for him to give his bike a bit more juice. Runs nicely and kicks out more power and more quietly as well. If you wire it up and nothing powers on, you just need to splice the alarm signal positive wire to the main battery positive. The alarm connector is a red square connector with 3 wires on it, you splice the red one to the battery positive. This tells the controller that the alarm has been "OK'd" and is ready to go as it were. If there is no signal to the controller from the alarm, it acts like an immobiliser would on a car, and wont allow you to start it. However rather than taking my word for it, I strongly advise using your own due diligence and work out how the controller works, so you know what to do in future.
