I'm not sure what the thinking was behind having removal piece for thing was in their design and it's possible they fixed the issue with newer version. This product works and it's cool looking. However, having to remove the control stick attachment each time makes it so I can't give it 5 stars. You can place it inside but it's sketchy as there is no factory place for it. For some reason they thought of hide aways for every other attachments you can think of except the most expensive and needed one. The size is the other thing to be aware of. Its great for packing in a backpack but too large to carry around with you.

Very compact and well made but the way it was constructed don’t allow you to tighten it well, if you are not vigilant it may loose very easy.
